Bringing a showroom-only furniture business online

Everything depended on people walking into the showroom. I built a site that shows the full collection the way the floor does, plus a custom request tool so buyers can commission a piece from anywhere.

Bringing a showroom-only furniture business online

[ 01, Challenge ]

A family-owned furniture retailer, offering both ready-made and custom pieces, depended entirely on people walking into the showroom to discover its range. If you hadn't visited in person, the business was effectively invisible.

[ 02, Approach ]

I designed and built a clean, visual site that presents the inventory the way the showroom does, by category, design, and collection, so customers can explore the full offer before they visit. I also built a custom furniture-request feature: a customer specifies the piece they want and their preferences, and sends it straight to Aurora for consultation and production.

[ 03, Outcomes ]

Aurora now reaches people who've never set foot in the showroom, and takes custom-furniture requests straight from the site.
