Turning a phone-and-paper rental operation into an online booking engine

A rental operation run on phone calls and paper. I built a full booking engine into their site, so a customer picks a car, gets the right price, adds extras, and reserves, no back-and-forth.

Turning a phone-and-paper rental operation into an online booking engine

[ 01, Challenge ]

A rental company with a fleet of 30+ vehicles had no website at all. Every availability check, price calculation, customer message, and booking was handled by hand across different routes and locations, a full-time administrative load that capped how much they could grow.

[ 02, Approach ]

I designed and built the site from scratch and put the entire fleet online, each vehicle with real pricing, availability, and rental conditions. Then I built the full reservation journey: dynamic pickup and return routes, operating hours, optional add-ons, real-time availability, and automatic price calculation. Tracking runs through the whole flow, so they can see how customers move toward a booking.

[ 03, Outcomes ]

Customers now book the whole thing online, priced correctly, while the team stops processing every request by hand.
