A real-time command center for a private beach operation
The office couldn't see what was happening on its own beach. So I built a real-time command center — one live map of every cabana, sale, and staff action, run from the front desk.
[ 01 — Challenge ]
A luxury hotel in Ulcinj runs its own private beach and beach accommodation — but the office had no way to see what was happening down on the sand. Capacity, cabana availability, sales, revenue, staff activity: all of it required someone physically stationed on the beach to watch and report. It was slow, hard to control, and impossible to verify.
[ 02 — Approach ]
I built a custom beach management platform around how the beach actually runs. At its center is an interactive 2D map of the real beach layout — staff manage each cabana directly on it, and management sees availability and activity across the whole beach live. Every staff action is logged, so the office knows what happened, when, and who did it. Historical reporting lets the team review any past day's sales, occupancy, and performance.
[ 03 — Outcomes ]
The team now runs the whole beach from the office — availability, staff activity, sales, and capacity, all live. Nobody has to stand on the sand to know what's going on.
[ 05 — Client ]
“The real-time beach tracker solved a massive blind spot. We now manage our outdoor operations with the same precision as our front desk.”
